Information Meetings and Public Hearings on Proposed Amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance
The Planning, Environment, and Development Committee of the County Board has put forward a set of amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) to the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) for a public hearing, review, and recommendation.
Review of the amendments will be on January 10th and 11th (the 17th has also been added) at 1:30pm at the McHenry County Administration Building in Conference Room C. These are informational meetings to familiarize the ZBA with the changes prior to opening of the public hearing. County staff will present the amendments and answer questions as they arise. The public is welcome to attend, ask questions, and make statements. However, public testimony will not be accepted until the public hearing opens.
