I earned my MBA in Business Administration from Aurora University, and served as Chief Deputy Treasurer for McHenry County for the last 18 years.  Prior to public service, I worked in banking for a local bank in McHenry County for 21 years.

I have extensive knowledge of the duties charged to the County Treasurer by the Illinois Compiled Statutes.  As County Treasurer, I will focus on four main points:

  1. Expand outreach efforts to assure that all taxpayers are aware of tax savings they may be entitled to receive.
  2. Work with local units of government to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of services.
  3. Protect the integrity of the county’s investments, while seeking the maximum return to help keep property taxes down.
  4. Streamline the Treasurer’s Office to control costs.

I am a lifelong McHenry County resident who earned all of my educational degrees, from high school through my MBA, in McHenry County.  Harvard is my hometown.  This is where I reside with my husband, Paul.  I am the mother of one daughter and grandmother of two granddaughters.
