The McHenry County Workforce Network Board is pleased to provide the most current information available on jobs, occupations, industries, wages, unemployment and business-related statistics that gives an overview of the economic climate in McHenry County. This information is summarized in the 2015 McHenry County Labor Report.
The McHenry County Workforce Network Board (LWDB) is a local business led organization responsible for developing policy and overseeing local workforce development initiatives in partnership with our local elected officials. The LWDB's role is to ensure that the local workforce development system is market-driven and responsive in meeting the employment and training needs of McHenry County employers and job seekers alike.
The LWDB and the McHenry County Workforce Network are established and funded by the Federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Partnering with leaders from business, economic development, education, labor, community organizations, and local elected officials we work to identify employer and worker needs and to develop programs and solutions.

The McHenry County Workforce Network has drafted its Workforce Development plan for Local Workforce Area 2 - McHenry County. The plan will be integrated with the regional plan and will address the local and regional Workforce needs and how the McHenry County Workforce Network and Workforce partners under WIOA look to address local workforce needs and issues together.
